Constructive engagement platform launched for Roma and Egyptian communities

The Constructive Engagement Platform for Education and Employment of the Roma and Egyptian Communities in Albania was officially presented as part of the Inclusive EduJobs – Albania project, implemented by the Open Society Foundation for Albania with funding from the European Union.

The platform aims to increase interaction between the Roma and Egyptian communities and public authorities, ensuring better access to education and employment opportunities. Its launch was attended by representatives from the European Union in Albania, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, civil society organizations, and members of the Roma and Egyptian communities.

Over the course of the initiative, the platform will host 12 workshops and 6 seminars, where participants will engage in concrete discussions on drafting and implementing policies directly affecting the Roma and Egyptian communities in Albania.

Inclusive EduJobs is funded by the European Union and implemented by the Open Society Foundation for Albania, the Municipality of Tirana, and the Center for Social Action and Innovation (KMOP).
