In the Municipality of Vlora, the first seminar within the framework of the Constructive Engagement Platform was successfully held.
The meeting was organized by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection in cooperation with the Open Society Foundation for Albania, under the Inclusive EduJobs project. It brought together senior representatives from the Ministry, the Municipalities of Vlora, Elbasan, and Shkodër, the National Employment and Skills Agency, as well as civil society organizations.
“The integration of Roma and Egyptian minorities into the labor market is an extraordinary opportunity for Albania, not only to fulfill its obligations for the inclusion of minorities, but also a direct benefit for the major challenges related to the workforce in Albania,” emphasized Dritan Nelaj, Director of the Inclusive EduJobs Project.
The seminar marked an important step in fostering collaboration among public institutions and civil society, aiming to promote inclusive policies and employment opportunities for Roma and Egyptian communities across the country.
