The Inclusive EduJobs – Albania project has begun to show tangible results through its investment in the farm in Shushicë, Elbasan.
The tomato harvest has started successfully, producing high-quality crops, excellent yields, and generating favorable trading prices.
Beyond economic benefits, the investment in the greenhouse has created social impacts. Family members of the farmer, who previously had to work abroad, are now employed locally, providing both work and income for the household.
Looking ahead, the greenhouse will serve as a source of vegetable seedlings for typical Shushicë varieties and supply free seedlings to participating farmers, enhancing production and trading opportunities in the future.
This investment is implemented by APGR as part of the “From Field to Market” project, supported by Inclusive EduJobs – Albania and funded by the European Union in Albania.
