The closing conference of the Inclusive EduJobs project took place today, bringing together key stakeholders to present the results and impact achieved through initiatives promoting inclusive education and sustainable employment.
Throughout the event, participants highlighted the importance of collaboration between institutions, organizations, and local communities in fostering long-term social inclusion and development. Discussions focused on how coordinated efforts can break barriers to education and employment, particularly for vulnerable groups, and contribute to a more equitable society.
Over its implementation period, Inclusive EduJobs has served as a practical model for promoting self-employment, empowerment through education, and stronger cooperation between schools, families, and local institutions. These actions have directly supported the Roma and Egyptian communities, creating pathways for sustainable inclusion and active participation in social and economic life.
The conference also provided a valuable reflection space, where partners and participants explored opportunities for scaling up the project’s successful models at both local and national levels. Turning these achievements into long-term policies and actions was identified as a key next step to ensure that the positive outcomes of the project continue to generate impact beyond its completion.
Funded by the European Union and implemented by the Open Society Foundation for Albania (OSFA) in partnership with the Municipality of Tirana and KMOP, the Inclusive EduJobs project has demonstrated that inclusion and empowerment through education and employment are essential foundations for a sustainable society built on equal opportunities.
