“The Constructive Engagement Platform is an instrument for inclusive, open and rich dialogue. We [the Ministry of Health and Social Protection] guarantee active and continuous partnership, as we plan to extend this practice to other social mechanisms and groups.”
These were the words of Deputy Minister Seferi at the opening ceremony of the Constructive Engagement Platform, highlighting the initiative as a valuable model to adapt policy-making to the real needs of Roma and Egyptian minorities, based on input from community actors themselves.
To ensure the efficiency and sustainability of the platform, KMOP organized a three-day training program within the framework of the Inclusive EduJobs project, involving state institutions such as the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, the Ministry of Education and Sports, and the National Employment and Skills Agency.
The trainings focused on building capacities for constructive dialogue and engaging stakeholders to improve government programs that facilitate the employment and educational integration of Roma and Egyptian communities.
